TP-LINK Converter 1000BASE-SX Fiber Cable to 1000BASE-T Copper Cable

The MC200CM is a media converter designed to convert 1000BASE-SX fiber cable to 1000Base-T copper cable or vice versa. The MC200CM is designed according to IEEE802.3ab, 1000Base-T, IEEE802.3z and 1000Base-SX standards. Can be used with multimode fiber cable using an SC type connector. The MC200CM supports the shortwave laser (SX) laser specification at the maximum transmission rate. It works at 850 nm both in sending and receiving data.

Other features of this module include the ability to be used as a device on its own (no housing required) or with a TP-LINK 19" chassis. In addition, it automatically detects the MDI/MDI-X mode for the port. TX and includes status LEDs on a front panel. The MC200CM extends the optical transmission distance up to 0.55 kilometers when using multimode fiber. It works at 1000 Mbps in Full-Duplex mode on both the TX and FX ports.
