The board's PCB has north-facing LEDs placed directly below the transparent legend of each key for maximum brightness. Glorious Fox switches use transparent cases with an SMD LED cutout on top to ensure color accuracy.

Side lights flank the body of the GMMK 2, casting a subtle glow on your desk. The RGB light they emit is well diffused for uniform brightness without noticeable hot spots.
