The TP-LINK TL-SG2210P Gigabit Smart Switch is equipped with 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports and 2 SFP slots. All RJ45 ports support the PoE standard and feature a total PoE power of 53W and PoE power management features. IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE power

The TL-SG2210P supports 8 IEEE 802.3af PoE ports and has a total power supply of 53W to power any 802.3af compliant power devices. It is an efficient and cost-effective option to work with wireless access points, surveillance cameras, IP phones and other devices that support PoE, while getting rid of cables or power lines running around. Compact and flexible, the TL-SG2210P is ideal for flexibly using PoE to deploy wireless access points and IP-based network surveillance cameras for projects or small business networks.

Advanced QoS Features

To integrate voice, data and video service into a network, the switch applies rich QoS policies. The administrator can designate traffic priority based on a variety of means, including Port Priority, 802.1P Priority, and DSCP Priority; to ensure that voice and video are always clear, crisp and lag-free. In conjunction with the voice VLAN supported by the switch, voice applications will operate with much easier performance.

Rich Layer 2 Features

For greater Layer 2 application, the TL-SG2210P supports a full line of Layer 2 features including 802.1Q VLAN Tagging, Port Isolation, Port Mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) and the 802.3x Flow Control function. Additionally, the switches provide advanced features for network maintenance, such as Loop Detection, cable diagnostics, and IGMP inspection. IGMP snooping ensures that the switch intelligently transmits the multicast stream only to the appropriate subscribers, while IGMP throttling and filtering restricts each subscriber at the port level to prevent unauthorized multicast access.

Management characteristics at the enterprise level

The TL-SG2210P is easy to use and manage. It supports several easy-to-use standard management features, such as an intuitive web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) or the industry-standard Command Interface (CLI). SNMP (v1/2/3) and RMON support allows the switch to poll for useful status information and send traps for abnormal events.
